Abstract: Human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) in breast milk can effectively promote the growth and colonization of beneficial bacteria in the infant's intestinal tract and inhibit the invasion of pathogenic bacteria.By improving the composition of the infant's intestinal flora and increasing the abundance of the intestinal flora,it maintains the health of the intestinal tract and enhances the immune system of infants, and also has an significant preventive effect on intestinal dysfunction related diseases. This article mainly expounds the research progress in the correlation between HMOs and the infant's intestinal flora in recent years, summarizes the influence of factors such as the mother's genotype on HMOs in the mother's body, and further explores the promoting effect of HMOs on the infant's intestinal flora, which is of great significance for better restoring the nutritional components of breast milk for feeding and preventing related diseases.
