Methods:Individual diet prescription, massage and plastering therapy of TCM were used for 82 children with chronic and persistent diarrhea. The scores of TCM syndrome were observed before and after 7 days of treatment. The effective group included cured and improved patients, and the contrastive analysis was made between the effective group and ineffective group.
Results:At the end of the 7 days of treatment,29 cases were cured(35.4%),46 cases were improved(56.1%),while 7 cases had no response(8.5%).All the child patients who recovered and improved were included in the effective group,75 cases in total(91.5%).The stool frequency of the children before sickness and the special milk powder were negatively correlated with efficacy, while the food supplement was positively correlated with efficacy.
