Clinical observation on the treatment for hand-foot-mouth disease by Sishi exterhal washing (lung and spleen dampness heat type)

Abstract:
Objective:
Ob for externa woshirs jective To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine(nectar disinfection) in the treatment of lung and spleen dampness heat syndrome of hand-foot-mouth disease.
Methods:Using the method of randomized controlled trial, patients were divided into treatment group and control group;control group wos given treatment of conventional therapy. according to the guidelines for the diagnosis The treatment group, in additior to the conventional treatment wos given out sids washing with Chinese medicine. Before and after treatment two groups of children were observed on syndrome scores, and at the end of treatment clinical curative effect was evaluated.
Results:Comparison of syndrome scores of the two groups after treatment showed that the intra-and inter-group comparisons showed significant differences (P<0.05),with effect to be more obvious in treatment group In the. evaluation of clinical efficacy, the efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group, the difference being statistically significant (P<0.05).
Conclusion:Sishi external washing with Chinese medicine is an effective treatment for hand-foot-mouth disease with lung and spleen dampness heat syndrome.
