Abstract: Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT), as a method to treat intestinal and extra-intestinal diseases by regulating intestinal flora dysbiosis, has attracted widespread attention in recent years. Its effect in the treatment of children's neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) has gradually been verified, showing great application prospects, which provides new strategies for the treatment of NDDs. This article explores its clinical efficacy, development prospects and some technical limitations that still exist at present by summarizing the relevant animal and clinical studies on FMT treatment for NDDs, aiming to provide relevant references for the subsequent clinical treatment of NDDs.
