Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the relationship between clinical symptoms of children with allergic purpura and Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis in children.
Methods:Totally 200 cases of children with allergic purpura treated in the Department of Women and Children Health Care Hospital of Baoan District of Shenzhen city from May 2013 to April 2015 were divided into two groups:purpura nephritis group(109 cases) and nonnephritis group(91 cases) according to whether or not having concurrent nephritis. The age and clinical symptoms of the two groups were analyzed by single factor and Logistics multifactor analysis(recurrence time of rash, bleeding of digestive tract, abdominal pain, joint pain, and edema of the blood vessels).
Results:Single factor analysis showed that children with allergic purpura nephritis was significantly related to age, recurrence time of skin rash, digestive tract bleeding, abdominal pain and joint pain(P<0.01).The logistics nonconditional multivariate analysis showed that age, which is more than or equal to 8 years old, time period of recurrent rash, which is more than or equal to 4 weeks, digestive tract bleeding, abdominal pain and joint pain were the independent risk factors for children with allergic purpura nephritis(P<0.01).
Conclusion:The development of allergic purpura nephritis is closely related to the clinical symptoms. Age,which is more than or equal to 8 years old, time period of recurrent rash, which is more than or equal to 4 weeks, digestive tract bleeding, abdominal pain and joint pain are independent risk factors for purpura nephritis(HSPN).
