Abstract:
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of oral Xiehuo Jiedu decoction in the treatment of children with lobar pneumonia.
Methods:A total of 382 cases of lobar pneumonia were selected and randomly divided into two groups:the control group and the treatment group. The control group was given a simple antiinfection treatment of western medicine, while the treatment group was given Xiehuo Jiedu decoction treatment in addition to the western treatment, one dose daily, twice a day, about 15~40 mL each time, for two weeks as a treatment course. At the end of treatment, observe the clinical efficacy.
ResultsThe total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.3%,and the total effective rate was 71.2% in the control group, showing that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group with statistical difference(P<0.01).The serum levels of C reactive protein in the two groups were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment, but the decrease in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.01).The fever time, antibiotics use time and length of hospital stay in treatment group were significantly less than that of the control group, and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.01).
Conclusion:In the treatment of infantile lobar pneumonia Xiehuo Jiedu decoction can significantly reduce the C reactive protein level, shorten the time of fever-relieving,antibiotic use and hospital stay, and thus improve the clinical efficacy, which is worthy of clinical application.
