Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Shenzhe Zhenqi decoction in the treatment of children with multiple tic disorder. Methods: From September 2014 to October 2016, 60 children with multiple tic disorder were admitted to the Pediatric Department of the Second People's Hospital of Anding District, Dingxi City for treatment, and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group(30 in each). The observation group was treated with Shenzhe Zhenqi decoction; the control group was treated with oral haloperidol, and Antan was used when there are side effects of vertebral body. Both groups were treated for 1 course of treatment. Observe the clinical efficacy, the incidence of side effects, the therapeutic effect on TCM syndromes and the long-term prognosis. Results: There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the observation group(86.7%,26/30) and the control group(83.3%,25/30)(P>0.05). After treatment, the incidence of side effects in the observation group was 0, which was significantly lower than that in the control group (40%,12/30), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01). The effective rate of TCM syndromes in the observation group was 100.0% (30/30), which was significantly better than that in the control group (36.7%,11/30). The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Two groups of children were reexamined within half a year, and there was no recurrence in the observation group, but two patients in the control group relapsed after emotional stimulation, and the recurrence rate was 6.7%(2/30). Conclusion:Shenzhe Zhenqi decoction has a good curative effect on children with multiple tic disorder. The treatment can be performed from liver, kidney, spleen and lung to restore the function of viscera. Its curative effect is comparable to that of western medicine, and its clinical value is worth promoting.
