Abstract: In the diagnosis and treatment of children with allergic purpura, Prof. Qin Yanhong explores the cause of the disease and sticks to the pathogenesis. She summarizes the clinical observation results and takes into account the experience of experts throughout the history to perform differentiated treatment. In the differentiation, the primary syndrome is emphasized, and the pathogen and pathological products are shown in the form of standard syndromes, which is clear, comprehensive and flexible. The cause and manifestations are both considered in the treatment. Prof. Qin thinks that in the early stage，the treatment should focus on clearing wind and heat, detoxifying and cooling blood. In the later stage, the focus of treatment should be nourishing Qi and Yin and tonifying spleen. Meanwhile, promoting blood circulation and removing and removing stasis should be performed throughout the whole process of treatment. These principles of treatment have achieved significant effect in the prevention and treatment of purpura at acute stage as well as its relapse.
