Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of group language training on children with autism spectrum disorder. Methods Totally 68 children with autism spectrum disorders admitted to our hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, each with 34 cases. The control group received routine rehabilitation training, and the observation group received group language training besides the training for the control group. The scores in the autism behavior scale as well the autism treatment assessment scale and the satisfaction of family members were compared between the two groups. Results After the training, the score in autism behavior scale in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the scores in autism treatment assessment scale between the two groups before or after training(P>0.05), and the difference in the observation group between before and after training was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The satisfaction of the family members in the observation group was 94.12%(32/34), higher than that in the control group(76.47%, 26/34), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Group language training combined with routine rehabilitation training can effectively improve the behavior of children with autism spectrum disorder, and increase the treatment effect and family satisfaction.
