Abstract: Salivation is one of the serious complications in children with cerebral palsy, which western medicine believes is mainly caused by oropharyngeal motor dysfunction. At present, the treatment of this disease mainly includes drugs, rehabilitation and surgery, and the clinical efficacy is not satisfactory; Acupuncture treatment is simple, inexpensive, effective and has no side effects. However, there are various selection of acupoints and lack of normative standards at present. This paper analyzes and summarizes the different mechanism of acupoint selection and acupoint matching methods in acupuncture treatment for this disease.
