Abstract: Mild gastroenteritis with benign convulsions in infants and young children is a common clinical disease and most of the children recover well. At present, there is no clear conclusion on the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease, and the researches on viral infection and immune dysfunction are now more popular. There is a unified opinion on the clinical characteristics and diagnosis of the disease, and clinical treatment mainly includes symptomatic treatment and anticonvulsant treatment.
