Abstract:

Objective To summarize the rules in the use of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) against influenza virus in core journals and other high-quality journals, and to provide TCM guidance for the prevention and treatment of influenza and other diseases. Methods With "Chinese medicine", "influenza virus" and "influenza" as subject words, CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang databases were searched, relevant literatures in core journals were screened and the prescription drugs were sorted out.Excel 2010, ancient and modern medical case cloud platform, SPSS Modeler 18.0, and SPSS Statistics 22.0 were used for statistical analysis of the collected data. Results Totally 1 131 articles from core journals were retrieved and 135 articles meeting the inclusion criteria were screened out, including 109 TCM prescriptions and 170 TCM ingredients, with a total frequency of 1 655 times. The three herbs most frequently used were licorice, honeysuckle and forsythia. The first three types of drug efficacy were heat-clearing and detoxification, wind-clearing and heat-dissipating, heat-clearing and fire-reducing.The medicinal properties were mostly cold, warm and flat. The medicinal flavor was mostly bitter, sweet and spicy. Of the twelve meridians most drugs belonged to the lung, stomach, heart, spleen and liver meridians.According to association rules, 20 compatible drug pairs were obtained, including schizonepeta-forsythia, schizonepeta-honeysuckle, and arctiumlappa-honeysuckle.Four new prescriptions were obtained by cluster analysis. Conclusion The use of traditional Chinese medicine against influenza virus has a certain regularity, which provides an important reference value for the prevention and treatment of influenza.
