AQP9 expression in brain tissue of rats with hypoxicischemic brain damage in rats

Abstract: Objective〖WT5”BZ〗 To study the change pattern of AQP9 expression in the brain tissues after hypoxicischemic brain damage and to discuss its relationship with brain edema.
〖WT5”HZ〗Methods〖WT5”BZ〗HIBD animal model was established,and quantitative PCR and WesternBlot were used to determine the changes of AQP9 expression and AQP9 mRNA.
〖WT5”HZ〗Results〖WT5”BZ〗AQP9 expression had no obvious change in the control group,but in the HIBD group,AQP9 expression increased with the lasting time of ischemia,and it reached its highest level on the second and third day of ischemia.
〖WT5”HZ〗Conclusions〖WT5”BZ〗In hypoxicischemic brain damage,AQP9 expression increases with the lasting time of hypoxia and ischemia,and it reaches its highest level at 72 hours.
