Abstract: The Shengjing school of children's acupuncture and massage develops and expands continuously with the mode of combining college education with teachertraining education. The school has its unique academic characteristics, advocating massage as medication. The determination of recipe depends on the treatment principle, reducing the number of acupuncture points and cooperating with acupoint selection to increase curative effect. At the same time, the core specific acupoints, representative methods and important acupoints of different diseases were summarized. This school also attaches great importance to children's health care, and according to the physiological and pathological characteristics of children and the difference in solar terms, 24solarterm health care and viscera health massage methods have been developed. The six methods of the back and spine and the acupuncture method through acupoints are the special techniques of the school. At the same time, it is good at using acupuncture and massage to treat children's cerebral palsy and other difficult diseases. The school is also somewhat regional, and enjoys a high reputation in Shenyang. The academic thought and techniques of the school have been spread all over the country through being invited to give lectures and holding training courses of acupuncture and massage.
