Coronary artery thrombosis (CAT) is a serious complication of Kawasaki disease (KD), which hasbecome one of the important causes of children's acquired heart disease. The pathogenesis of KD-CAT is still being explored, and itstreatment plan and medication has become a research hotspot. This paper reviews the application of KD-CAT from the aspects of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine. In western medicine the drugs forKD-CAT are divided into antiplatelet, anticoagulant and thrombolytic drugs. In traditional Chinese medicine the drugs for clearing heat and detoxification, supplementing Qi and nourishing Yin, and promoting blood circulationand removing blood stasis are used as the main line of treatment, and it is emphasized that the prescription of "promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis" must be used throughout the whole process of KD-CAT treatment.
