Abstract: Oligosaccharides in breast milk maintain the intestinal health of infants and infants by influencing the composition of the microbial flora in the intestine, resisting the invasion of pathogenic bacteria to intestinal mucosal epithelial cells, and regulating the immune response of the body. Some disordered intestinal diseases, such as necrotizing enterocolitis and diarrhea, can also be effectively prevented and treated. This article mainly describes the research progress on human milk oligosaccharides and infant intestinal health both at home and abroad in recent years, and further explores the correlation between human milk oligosaccharides and infant intestinal health, intending to better guide breastfeeding and provide evidence for the treatment and prevention of related diseases.
