Abstract: Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of family training on children with high risk of cerebral palsy (CP) Methods A total of 60 children with high risk of CP were treated in our rehabilitation center from Jan.2016 to Jan.2018,and they were randomly divided into two groups:observation group (30) and control group (30) For the observation group,Peabody family training program was given to the children in addition to conventional treatment The therapeutic effect was compared after 3 months of treatment Results After treatment the gross motor quotient (GMQ) of the observation group was 76.93±2.32,which was higher than that of the control group (72.60±2.24),and there was statistical difference (P<0.05) The comprehensive development effect in the observation group was higher than that in control group (P<0.05) Conclusion The children have faster progress in treatment if their parents can perform family training It′s good not only for gross motor ability but also for early development of cognition of children Therefore,the parents should take part in the early rehabilitation training in a proper way
