Abstract:

Sleep is one of the most important physiological activities of the human body. Childhood is a critical period of growth and development. A good sleep can improve the body's immunity, which is closely related to the development of the nervous system, learning and memory functions. Sleep disorder is a common problem in pediatric neurology, which may occur alone or with other neurological diseases, causing damage to children's cognition, emotion, growth and development. The pathophysiological changes of sleep disorders mainly include neurotransmitter changes. Neurotransmitters can be divided into excitability and inhibition. When the change of their content exceeds the physiological range, pathological changes will occur and clinical manifestations of sleep disorders will appear. This paper mainly introduces the research mechanism and status of the nervous system related to sleep disorders, aiming to improve the evaluation and intervention level of sleep disorders, optimize disease management, improve sleep conditions of children and improve their quality of life.
