Abstract: Objective To study the application result of comfort nursing in the nursing of asthmatic children in acute attack. Methods A total of 108 children with asthma were chosen as the research subjects, who were treated in Shenyang 245 Hospital from August 2015 to August 2016, and they were randomly divided into two groups: observation group and control group, 54 cases in each. Conventional nursing was performed for the children in both groups, and the children in observation group were also given comfort nursing. Compare the following items between the two groups: improvement in signs and symptoms, length of hospital stay, hospitalization cost, and satisfaction degree to the nursing. Results In the observation group, the disappearance time of the children's signs and symptoms of moist rales, wheezing, dyspnea, cough and expectoration was significantly shorter, compared with that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The mean hospitalization time of the children in the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the hospitalization cost was significantly less than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was 94.44%(51/54), which was significantly higher than the control group 77.78%(42/54). The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Comfortable nursing in children with acute episode of asthma can help to relieve the symptoms and signs quickly, shorten hospitalization time, save the cost of hospitalization and improve the nursing satisfaction of children's family.
