Abstract:
Objective: To probe into the analgesia effect of the intravenous fentanyl citrate puisne acid in neonatal mechanical ventilation.
Methods: Eighty newborn infants who received mechanical ventilation for respiratory distress syndrome in our hospital from February 2010 to February 2015 were taken as the research objects, and these patients were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 40 patients in each group. In the observation group, they were treated with the intravenous fentanyl citrate puisne acid, while in the control group, they were treated with the vitamin B6 placebo analgesia. Then, the pain was scored by N-PASS,and blood pressure and heart rate of different times were recorded.
Results: N-PASS score had no statistical difference between the two groups within one hour(P>0.05).Beginning from 3h of treatment, the N-PASS score of the observation group started to decrease, which was lower at 3h,12h and 24h than the control group, and the differences had statistical significance(P<0.05).The heart rate and blood pressure of the two groups had no significant change in 3h,but significantly decreased beginning from 12h,which were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12h of treatment, the systolic pressure was obviously lower in observation group and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).
Conclusion: The analgesia effect of the intravenous fentanyl citrate puisne acid in neonatal mechanical ventilation is significant, which can avoid increase of heart rate caused by the pain, and the blood pressure is stable, thus should be promoted in the clinical application.
