Abstract: Objective To study the changes and significance of serum cytokines in children with Kawasaki disease complicated with mycoplasma infection. Methods Totally 72 children with Kawasaki disease admitted to Pediatric Department of Cangzhou Central Hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were selected as the study subjectsAccording to whether they were complicated with mycoplasma infection, the children were divided into mycoplasma infection group(n=18) and non-mycoplasma infection group(n=54)Serum MP-IgM,IL-6,IL-8,IL-10 and TNF-α were detected by ELISA. Results Before treatment, serum levels of IL-6,IL-8,IL-10 and TNF-α of mycoplasma infection group were obviously higher than those of nonmycoplasma infection group(P<0.05);after treatment, serum levels of IL-6,IL-8,IL-10 and TNF-α of two groups were significantly lower than those before(P<0.05),but the above indexes between the two groups had no statistically significant differences(P>0.05).
Conclusion Levels of serum IL-6,IL-8,IL-10 and TNF-α are significantly increased in children with Kawasaki disease complicated with mycoplasma infection, and the detection of the above indicators are conducive to early detection of mycoplasma infection, which is worthy of clinical reference.
