Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effect of parent training on anxiety state of parents and rehabilitation of children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD). Methods A total of 50 ASD children who received rehabilitation treatment in the Fist Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical College from July 2018 to June 2019 were chosen as the research subjects, and they were divided into two groups according to visit number: 25 in observation group and 25 in control group. The parents of the children in control group didn't take part in the parent training, while those in observation group did. The groups of children received conventional rehabilitation treatment at the same time, and the treatment lasted for 3 months. Before and after the treatment, the SelfAssessment Scale (SAS) of anxiety was used to evaluate the parents' anxiety in the two groups; the rehabilitation effect was evaluated by Autism Behavior Checklist(ABC) for children and Gesell in ASD children whose parents took part in the training. Results The anxiety was obviously improved in the parents who took part in the training, and there was statistical difference (P<0.05). Comparing the ABC results of the children between the control group and the observation group, the improvement in senses and communication was significant (P<0.05); according to Gesell results, the children in observation group was better in personalsocial aspects, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Parents' training helps to improve the anxiety of parents of ASD children, and it is beneficial to the rehabilitation of ASD children in senses and communication.
