Abstract: ObjectiveTo summarize the influence of maternal and child health nursing on full-term infant health by healthcare nurses in perinatal period.MethodsTotally 92 full-term infants with the nurses are compared to 87 infants without nurses, including feeding modes, diseases, accidents, weight and height at 42 days after birth.ResultsIn the infants with nurses, babies were taller and heavier,with a higher rate of correct breastfeeding (P<0.01);the incidence of skin infection,diseases and accidents was significantly decreased(all P<0.01),compared with the infants without nurses.ConclusionThe nursing of perinatal maternal and child healthcare nurses is helpful to improve the health level of the infants.
