Abstract: Objective：To explore and analyze the disease recurrence in children during epilepsy remission within 2 years after drug reduction and withdrawal,and to analyze the related factors that induce recurrence.
Methods：A total of 168 children during epilepsy remission after anti-drug treatment in our hospital from March 2016 to March 2018 were followed up.Their clinical data were retrospectively analyzed.The related factors that caused epilepsy recurrence were analyzed.
Results：In the 2 years of follow-up,there were 40 recurrence cases in the 168 children,with recurrence rate being 23.81%.The following factors,including age younger than 6 years old,course of disease no shorter than 1 year before treatment,persistent epilepsy before treatment,intracranial lesions,AEDs treatment cycle no shorter than 1 year,epileptic discharge before drug reduction and withdrawal,drug reduction and withdrawal shorter than 6 months and abnormal EEG manifestations before drug reduction and withdrawal,were risk factors of recurrence.
Conclusion：Clinically,drug reduction and withdrawal should follow the principle of individualization in epilepsy children.Taking targeted intervention measures for high-risk factors helps to reduce the recurrence rate after drug reduction and withdrawal in children during remission.
