Abstract: Objective:To perform a Meta-analysis by observing the clinical efficacy of the treatment for infantile pneumonia with modified Maxing Shigan decoction.
Methods:The Chinese biomedical literature database(CBM), Chinese academic journal full-text database(CNKI), Wanfang database, Weipu database and PubMed were searched by computer to collect the randomized controlled trialsconcerning the treatment for infantile pneumonia with the modified traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions including Maxing Shigan decoction. The quality of included literature was evaluated by Cochrane systematic evaluation method, and the Meta-analysis of included literature was made by Revman 5.3 statistical software.
Results:A total of 13 randomized controlled trials were included, involving 657 patients. The Meta-analysis results showed that the total effective rate of the treatment for infantile pneumonia with Chinese medicine prescription including modified Maxing Shigan decoction was better than that of western medicine, and the combined OR value was 2.31[95%CI(1.82,2.93)].
Conclusion:Compared with western medicine, the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine prescriptionsincluding modified Maxing Shigan decoction in the treatment of acute pneumonia in children has certain advantages, and it has provided a reference basis for the promotion of novel coronavirus in the global treatment scheme.
