Abstract: Allergen-specific immunotherapy(AIT) is a desensitization therapy for IgE-mediated allergic diseases that can not avoid allergens. At present, it is the only way to control the process of allergic diseases according to the etiology, which can achieve long-term effect. AIT can achieve therapeutic purposes by inducing the body to develop immune tolerance to specific allergens, but there are also many constraints. Although allergen-specific immunotherapy has a history of more than one hundred years, its clinical application in children's allergic diseases has yet to be deepened. This paper aims to review the mechanism, clinical application and prospect of allergen-specific immunotherapy in children's allergic diseases.
