Abstract: Objective:To explore mechanism of antiviral mechanism of Xiyanping injection in vitroby invstigating influence of Xiyanping injection on expression of Bcl-2/Bax protein in adenovirus-infected Hep-2 cells. Methods:The Hep-2 cells were infected with adenovirus, which were interfered with high, medium and low dose of Xiyanping injection and ribavirin. Then expressions of Bcl-2/Bax protein were measured by immunohistochemistry. Results:The expressions of Bax protein in model group were significantly higher than normal groups(P<0.05).The expression of Bax protein in all Xiyangping groups and ribavirin control group was lower than that of model group, and it was much lower in the high-dose Xiyanping group and ribavirin control group than in the model group(P<0.05). The expressions of Bal-2 protein in different groups had no significant difference(P>0.05). ConclusionXiyanping injection can kill ADV by suppressing the expressions of Bax protein. The high-dose Xiyanping injection is better than others.
