Abstract: Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of routine western medicine combined with Yiqi Jianpi Fanggan decoction in the treatment of repeated respiratory tract infection in children. Methods The 82 children with recurrent respiratory tract infection who were treated in our hospital from February 2018 to June 2019 were divided into two groups based on treatment methods,40 children treated with conventional western medicine were included as control group, and 42 children treated with western medicine plus Yiqi Jianpi Fanggan decoction as observation group. The TCM syndrome score, time of symptom relief and improvement in immune function were analyzed retrospectively. Results The TCM syndrome scores of the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 92.86%(39/42) in observation group, which was significantly higher than that in control group(75.00%,30/40)(P<0.05).The time in the relief of fever, cough and red eyes was significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).CD8+ in the observation group was significantly lower than in the control group, and CD3+ and CD4+ in the observation group were significantly higher than in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion On the basis of conventional western medicine, Yiqi Jianpi Fanggan decoction can obviously improve the effect of relieving clinical symptoms and the total curative effect, and effectively enhance the immunity function of the body.
