This paper briefly introduces Prof. She Jilin’s experience in the treatment of children with Tourette syndrome from the aspects of etiology, pathogenesis, treatment principles and prescriptions. At onset stage, the disease manifests as "Shi Zheng"(with the symptom of high fever, no sweat, abdominal distension, etc.), and the treatment aims to calm the liver wind, clear away heart-fire, nourish Yin and clear the heat. At remission stage, the disease manifests as "Xu Zheng"(deficiency syndrome), and the treatment focuses on invagrating spleen, nourishing Yin and Yang, calming liver wind and nourishing liver and kindey. Meanwhile, Prof. She also pays attention to psychological behavior intervention. Prof. She thinks that this disease in children most often is related to allergy, which makes more attacks at the turn of seasons and becomes more severe after catch a cold. During treatment, anti-allergic medicine should be given and pay attention to the regulation of lung, in order to strengthen the children's physical condition and improve the allergic situation of the children.

    Abstract1171)      PDF(pc) (481KB)(207)       Save
recent years, the incidence rate of Tourette syndrome in children has been increasing year by year, which seriously affects the children's physical and mental health as well as their quality of life. Professor Liu Xia, one in the sixth group of academic experience instructors of national experts in traditional Chinese medicine, has rich clinical experience in the treatment of Tourette syndrome in children. Based on her many years of clinical experience, she proposed the views that the pathogenesis of Tourette syndrome in children is "rooting in the liver, onset in the lung", establishing her theories from "wind evil and phlegm evil", and adopted the method of regulating lung and calming liver as well as dispelling wind and removing phlegm to treat Tourette syndrome in children. She used Lily magnolia,Periostracum cicadae,Rhizoma phragmitis,Folium isatidis,Rabdosia rubescens, papaya,Pinellia ternate,Common clubmoss herb,Ramulus uncariae cum unicis and scorpion as the basic drugs and according to different characteristics of the symptoms she adjusted the medicines during the treatment of children with Tourette syndrome, and the effect was satisfactory. She believed that the disease's onset was slow and its recovery was not quick. As for the principle of therapeutic methods, the most important thing was to stick to the law and prescription, and to follow the prescription if the effect was good, maintaining the treatment. In addition, life conditioning during the treatment was very important, we should pay attention to daily life, diet and psychological care, and focus on the prevention of respiratory tract infection in order to dispel the causes of the disease.

Objective:To analyze the relevant risk factors of cerebral palsy in children in Wuxi area, and to provide evidence for preventing the incidence of cerebral palsy. Methods:A total of 50 children with cerebral palsy hospitalized in Pediatric Rehabilitation Center of Wuxi Children's Hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected as observation group. Another 100 healthy children undergoing physical examination in our hospital in the same period were selected as control group. A 1∶2 matched case-control study was conducted. Complete the questionnaire by inquiring the parents of the children. The survey items included gender of children, maternal age, radiation contact, drug use during pregnancy, living in new houses or driving new cars, working, smoking history, drinking history, history of abortion, preventing miscarriage, taking folic acid, delivery methods, bad mood, pregnancy complications, regular prenatal examination, preterm birth, birth weight, neonatal asphyxia, hypoxic -ischemic encephalopathy, and pathological jaundice. All data were analyzed with univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results:Univariate analysis showed that maternal age, working, smoking history, history of abortion, bad mood, number of births, low weight at birth, neonatal asphyxia,hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and pathological jaundice were risk for cerebral palsy in children(P<0.05). The multivariate analysis showed that maternal age, smoking history, history of abortion, bad mood, number of births, premature delivery, low weight at birth, neonatal asphyxia and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy were the independent risk factors. Conclusion:The relevant risk factors of cerebral palsy in children are various. In order to provide scientific theoretical basis for reducing the incidence of cerebral palsy in children, preventive measures are taken and epidemiological investigation and statistics about common risk factors are carried out.
