    Impact of Rongchang capsule on hippocampal neuron morphology and survival status in magnesium-free epilepsy cell model

    Objective
    To observe the effect of Rongchang capsule characterized by tonifying kidney and replenishing essence on the morphology and survival status of magnesium-free epileptic models of hippocampal neuron, and discuss its protection effect on injured neuron and the probable mechanism.
    Methods
    Establish the magnesium-free epilepsy cell model by culturing the hippocampal neuron of newborn SD rats, which were randomly divided into normal group(normal extracellular fluid), model group(magnesium-free extracellular fluid), control group(magnesium-free+3-MA), and the Rongchang capsule group of 5%,10% and 20% concentration(magnesium-free+Rongchang capsule of different concentration).The morphological changes and apoptosis of neutron cell of each group were observed through inverted phase contrast microscope; the activities of neutron cell were identified, and the injury degrees of neuron cell were determined.
    Results
    (1)Morphological changes: compared to the model group,the morphological damage of Chinese medicine cerebrospinal fluid group of different concentration were alleviated at each time point; the cell bodies were comparatively complete, the outgrowth was clear and there were more surviving cells.(2) Hippocampal neuron activity:compared with normal group, the activity of hippocampal neuron in model group was reduced remarkably(P<0.05); the activity of magnesium-free hippocampal neuron was greatly increased in the group processed with different concentration of Rongchang capsule compared with model group(P<0.05).(3)Hippocampus neuron damage degree:compared with model group, Rongchang capsule (low, medium, and high dose) group could significantly reduce the LDH release volume in magnesium-free hippocampal neuron, being concentration-dependent(P<0.05);  compared with normal group, the LDH release volume in hippocampal neuron of model group was significantly higher(P<0.05); the  LDH release volume in hippocampal neuronof Rongchang capsule(low, medium,and high dose) group decreased with the increase of concentration.
    Conclusion
    (1)Rongchang capsule can reduce the LDH release volume of magnesium-free epileptic model hippocampal neuron, keep the integrity of cell membrane and the function of mitochondria, increase the activity of neuron cells and decrease the rate of apoptosis, playing the role of protecting hippocampal neuron.(2)Rongchang capsule can increase the activity of neuron cells of magnesium-free epileptic models and depress the apoptosis of hippocampal neuron, and the protection mechanism might be related to regulating neuron's autophagy.

    Effects of Anti-disease Sachet(a type of Zhuang medicine) on the secretion of respiratory sIgA and IgG in Qi-deficiency mice

    Objective
    To study the effect of Anti-disease Sachet(a type of Zhuang medicine) on local immune function in Qi-deficiency mice, and to explore its mechanism in prevention and treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infection.
    Methods
    A total of 24 SPF mice of Kunming species were chosen(male and female), whose body mass was 18-22 g. They were randomly divided into four groups: blank group, model group, incense module group and sachet group, with 6 mice in each group. They were intervened by Anti-disease Sachet for 4 weeks, and at the fourth week, Qi-deficiency model was established; after that, ELISA was used to determine the concentration of sIgA and IgG in the alveolar lavage fluid.
    Results
    There was no statistical difference in sIgA in alveolar fluid between model group and sachet group(P>0.05). The sIgA in alveolar fluid of mice was significantly higher in sachet group than in blank group and model group, and there was statistical difference(P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in IgG in alveolar fluid of mice among the four groups(P>0.05).
    Conclusion
    Anti-disease Sachet(a type of Zhuang medicine) is effective in improving respiratory immune function, so it can be used to prevent recurrent respiratory tract infection in children.

    Objective
    To observe the clinical effects of humidified high-flow nasal cannula(HHFNC) in infants with pneumonia and capillary bronchitis.
    Methods
    Totally 60 cases of infants less than six months old diagnosed with pneumonia or capillary bronchitis between March 2016 and March 2017 were randomly divided into two groups on the basis of different respiratory support mode,with 30 cases in HHFNC group and the other 30 cases in nCPAP group,who had hypoxemia(transcutaneous oxygen saturation was under 90% or between 90% and 94% but had no improvement after oxygenation treatment with nasal catheters).The children's compliance(the number of cases with nasal catheters drawn by themselves or asked to be pulled off by family members) within 3 days and 7 days after treatment,abdominal distension and incidence of nasal septum injury,noninvasive respiratory support time and total time of oxygen use were observed.
    Results
    The 3d and 7d compliance rate of HHFNC group was 10.0%(3/30) and 16.7%(5/30), which was significantly lower than that of nCPAP group[(33.3%,10/30),(63.3%,19/30)]; the incience rate of abdominal distension and nasal septum injury was 10.0%(3/30) and 3.3%(1/30), significantly lower than that in nCPAP group[(73.3%,22/30),(26.7%,8/30)]; the difference was of statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in the incidence of hypercapnia, noninvasive respiratory support time or total time of oxygen use between the two groups.
    Conclusion
    HHFNC,which provides respiratory support more cozily to infants with pneumonia or capillary bronchitis, has better compliance.

    Effect of comprehensive rehabilitation training on balance function and gait in children with cerebral palsy

    Objective
    To observe the effect of comprehensive rehabilitation training on balance function and gait in children with spastic cerebral palsy (CP),which is based on the routine rehabilitation training combined with the core stability training and body weight support treadmill training(BWSTT).
    Methods
    A total of 120 children with spastic cerebral palsy, who were treated in Weifang Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from March 2013 to March 2014, were divided into control group and observation group, with 60 in each group. Both groups received routine rehabilitation training,and the observation group received core stability training and BWSTT,3 months for 1 course.Before and after rehabilitation training,Berg balance scale and footprint analysis were used to evaluate.
    Results
    After treatment the Berg Balance scale score was higher than that before treatment(P<0.05), and the score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). The step length, width and speed of the two groups were better after treatment than before(P<0.05); after treatment, they were better in observation than in control group(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    The comprehensive rehabilitation training based on routine rehabilitation training combined with core stability training and BWSTT is beneficial to improving balance function and gait in children with spastic cerebral palsy.

    Research in the effect of Yupingfeng powder on the susceptibility to influenza in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection of different TCM types

    Objective
    To study the mechanism of the susceptibility to influenza in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection(RRTI) of different syndrome types and the effect of Yupingfeng powder on it.
    Methods
    A total of 150 children with RRTI treated between Mar. 2015 and Mar. 2017 were  chosen, and they were divided into five groups according to their TCM syndrome types: lung-spleen qi-deficiency group(A), qi-yin-deficiency group(B), lung-deficiency group(C), spleen-deficiency group(D), and spleen-kidney-deficiency group(E), with 30 children in each group. At the same time, 30 healthy children were selected as the normal control group. All the RRTI children took Yupingfeng powder orally; before and after taking the medicine, the level of serum IgG1 and IgG3,SAα2-6Gal and SAα2-3Gal in saliva was determined, which was compared with that of normal contral group.
    Results
    Compared with the normal control group, the level of IgG1 and IgG3 of RRTI children in group A, B and C was decreased before treatment, which was significantly increased after treatment with Yupingfeng powder, and there was statistical difference(P<0.05). Compared with normal control group, the level of SAα2-6Gal and SAα2-3Gal was obviously decreased in group A,D and E before treatment, which was significantly increased after treatment with Yupingfeng powder, the difference being statistical(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    The changes in the immune indexes of RRTI children are related to the TCM syndrome types. The determination of IgG1,IgG3, SAα2-6Gal and SAα2-3Gal can be used as the reference evidence of syndrome differentiation and the evaluation indexes of susceptibility to influenza. Yupingfeng can regulate the level of IgG1, IgG3, SAα2-6Gal and SAα2-3Gal in RRTI children of different syndrome types, and reduce their susceptibility to influenza virus.

    The pathogenesis of Graves' disease(GD) involves genetic, environmental, autoimmune and other factors. Among them, the immune mechanism is the central part. T-cell phenotype, and immune regulation of each subgroup and cytokines have been studied intensively in recent years. Thyroid autoantibodys, such as TRAb and TPOAb, have been widely used in clinical diagnosis,therapeutic evaluation and prognosis prediction of GD; CD4+T and CD8+T cells, as well as Th1 and Th2 cells have the complex and important immunologic function,so the imbalance of CD4/CD8 and Th1/Th2 can lead to immunological disorders; furthermore,CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells and NK cells can exert their immunosuppression effect,acting as the protective factor of GD; IL-2,IL-6,TNF-α,IFN-α,INF-γ,IGF-1 and other cytokines play different roles in the immune regulation.

    The rate of child overweight and obesity has shown an alarming increase in both developed and developing countries. Overweight and obesity in children not only affects their mental health, but also is a risk factor for a variety of serious chronic diseases in adulthood, such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus. Therefor, we should perform early prevention and control. This review summarized the possible factors in early childhood influencing overweight and obesity, focusing on the association between the maternal gestational weight gain,delivery patterns, birth weight, postnatal feeding patterns and overweight and obesity in children, and its mechanism.

    A brief analysis of the research progress of Huangqi in the treatment of nephritic syndrome in children

    With reference to the medical literatures about nephritic syndrome in children and Huangqi, the related proven cases were analyzed, and the contradictions and indications of the treatment with Huangqi for children with nephritic syndrome were summarized, as well as the preparation and dosage and the experience in the use of common drugs. In the treatment of children with nephritic syndrome, Huangqi was mainly used for lung and spleen qi-deficiency syndrome, spleen and kidney yang-deficiency syndrome,qi-yin deficiency syndrome,water damp syndrome and syndrome of blood stasis. The dosage was on the children's age, and 30 g was the largest dosage. Nephritic syndrome in Children was mainly characterized by deficiency in origin and enrichment in symptoms or the combination of deficiency and enrichment. Huangqi had the advantage of nourishing qi and removing edema, so it was widely used in the treatment of children with nephritic syndrome.

    Meta-analysis of compound Danshen injection in adjuvant therapy of Henoch-Schonlein purpura in children

    Objective
    To evaluate the efficacy and safety of compound Danshen injection for Henoch-Schonlein purpura(HSP).
    Methods
    Clinical randomized controlled trials(RCT) were collected by searching Pubmed, WEB of SCIENCE, the Cochrane Library, CNKI, VIP and Wanfang Data from their inception to November 30, 2016. Two researchers screen the literatures and selected the data according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The quality of included studies was assessed according to the criteria recommended Cochrane Collaboration. Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.3 software.
    Results
    Ten trials(n=768) were included. The results of Meta-analysis demonstrated that, the efficiency of compound Danshen injection adjuvant therapy for HSP was better, including the total effective rate, the time of erythra regression time, the relief time of clinical symptoms of joints and the relief time of clinical gastrointestinal symptoms(P<0.05); there were no serious adverse effects in the treatment.
    Conclusion
    Compared with routine treatment, compound Danshen injection therapy might be a better choice for HSP with more remarkable efficacy and few adverse effects. However, the quality of the included literature is low, so high-quality clinical trials are needed to verify its effect.

    Objective
    By detecting the expression of transforming growth factor beta2 gene (Tgfb2) after TBX1 gene interference, we explored the possible way of TBX1 gene involving in cardiac development and development of congenital heart disease.
    Methods
    According to the different treatment factors, the cells were divided into NC-siRNA group and TBX1-siRNA group. TBX1-siRNA was transfected in rat embryonic cardiomyocyte H9C2, and the interference efficiency was detected by real-time quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR). The H9C2 cell line at 48h after transfection with TBX1-siRNA for was collected to extract the total RNA, and qRT-PCR method was used to detect the expression level of Tgfb2 gene mRNA after interference.
    Results
    (1)qRT-PCR was used to detect the expression of TBX1 mRNA in myocardial cells. The expression was (0.22±0.02) at 48h after transfection with TBX1-siRNA. Compared with NC-siRNA (0.99±0.02), the expression of TBX1 mRNA was significantly down-regulated, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). (2)The expression of Tgfb2 mRNA in myocardial cells was detected by qRT-PCR, and the expression of H9C2 cells was transfected with TBX1-siRNA. After 48h, the expression of Tgfb2 mRNA was significantly up-regulated (2.19±0.01) compared with that of NC-siRNA(1.00±0.01). The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    The down-regulation of TBX1 gene expression may be involved in the development of heart and the development of congenital heart disease by regulating the expression of Tgfb2 gene.

    Suhuang cough-relieving capsule regulates immunologic function of children with cough variant asthma

    Objective
    To investigate the treatment result of Suhuang cough-relieving capsule and its effect on immunologic function of children with cough variant asthma.
    Methods
    Eighty children with cough variant asthma admitted to Department of Pediatrics, the Second Hospital of Chaoyang from January 2015 to April 2016 were included, and equally randomized into treatment group and control group(n=40 per group). Children in the control group received routine treatment, and if necessary, inhalation therapy was given. In addition to the treatment for control group, the treatment group also received treatment of oral Suhuang cough-relieving capsule, 3 months as a course of treatment. After 3-month treatment, the total effect was observed, and serum CD4+, CD8+ levels of T lymphocyte subsets were measured by alkaline phosphatase-anti-alkaline phosphatase assay (APAAP method), and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ was calculated.
    Results
    The total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group [95% (38/40) vs. 80% (32/40), P<0.05]. Serum levels of CD4+ and CD8+ and their ratio were similar between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05). After treatment, serum level of CD4+ and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ of both groups were significantly increased; however, serum level of CD8+ was decreased after treatment compared with before treatment (P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    Suhuang cough-relieving capsule can improve immunologic function and therapeutic effects in children with cough variant asthma.

    Objective
    To investigate the clinical effect of tropicamide eye drops and atropine eye oint on the results of optometry in children.
    Methods
    From December 2015 to July 2016, 80 cases(160 eyes) of children over 8 years old with myopia were selected as search subjects. They were randomly divided into the study group (treated with atropine eye oint) and the control group (treated with tropicamide eye drops), 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with 1% atropine eye oint, while the study group was given tropicamide eye drops. The difference of the degree of the spherical mirror and the columnar mirror was calculated, which was between the initial measurement and the re-examination when the correction vision was 1.0. The result was considered to be the same if the difference was less than or equal to 0.5D. The number of eyes was compared, whose difference was less than 0.5D, between 0.5D to 1.0D, and more than 1.0D.
    Results
    There was no significant difference between the two groups of children with different diopters of spherical and cylindrical lenses(P>0.05).
    Conclusion
    The effect of tropicamide eye drops and atropine eye oint on optometry results of myopia children over 8 years old is almost the same.

    Efficacy analysis of exercise therapy combined with electrical stimulation in treatment of spastic cerebral palsy

    Objective
    To explore the effect of exercise therapy combined with electrical stimulation in the treatment of children with spastic cerebral palsy, and to observe its effect on the gross motor function, muscle tone and daily living ability in children with cerebral palsy, in order to improve the clinical treatment level.
    Methods
    A total of 120 children with spastic cerebral palsy treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from January 2016 to May 2017 were randomly divided into exercise therapy group, electrical stimulation group, exercise-electrical stimulation combination group, 40 cases each. Exercise group developed exercise therapy goals and training programs based on five functional scores of the GMFM; electrical stimulation group received multi-part muscle stimulation; the combination group received exercise therapy and electrical stimulation at the same time. Three groups of patients were evaluated by using the gross motor function rating scale, the Ashworth spasm rating scale, and the children's assessment scale of daily living ability respectively before and after treatment.
    Results
    The gross motor function scores, modified Ashworth spasticity scores and scores of daily living ability in children with cerebral palsy before and after treatment in three groups were significantly different(P<0.05); compared with exercise therapy group and electric stimulation group, the three kinds of scores of the combination group were significantly better(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the three kinds of scores between exercise therapy group and electrical stimulation group(P>0.05).
    Conclusion
    The three kinds of treatment can improve the gross motor function, muscle tone and daily living ability of children with cerebral palsy. Exercise combined with electrical stimulation for children with spastic cerebral palsy can obviously improve the gross motor function, joint activities and daily living ability, and the treatment effect is better than the other two groups, so it is worthy of clinical popularization and application.

    Huangqi injection for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy:a systematic evaluation

    Objective
    To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Huangqi injection for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE).
    Methods
    According to the inclusion criteria, random or semi-random controlled trials related to Huangqi injection in the treatment of HIE were searched and selected from PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, CBM, CNKI and VIP, etc.(from their inception to November 2016), and relevant literature references were retrieved, supplemented by hand searching of relevant journals and conference papers. Assess the methodological quality of the included trials according to Cochrane Handbook for systematic reviews of interventions. Meta-analysis was performed using the Cochrane Collaboration's RevMan 5.3.
    Results
    Six randomized controlled trials were included. In the 6 trials, there were 390 cases of HIE, including 220 cases treated by Huangqi injection and 170 cases receiving conventional treatment in the control group. Meta-analysis results showed that conventional treatment combined with Huangqi injection could improve the NBNA[MD=3.61,95%CI(1.86,5.36)], shorten the average healing time[MD=-1.40,95%CI(-1.66,-1.15)], and the recovery of clinical symptoms, such as primitive reflex, muscle tension and consciousness was better than the control group, the difference being of statistical significance(P<0.05). No side effects were reported.
    Conclusion
    Limited evidence indicates that application of Huangqi injection in the treatment of neonatal HIE has a certain curative effect, but because of the low statistical quality of the included trials and the lack of evidence of long-term effect, more well-designed and large-scale randomized controlled trials are needed to verify it.

    Clinical curative effect of Xiaoer Feike granule combined with Ambrocol oral solution on infantile bronchitis

    Objective
    To investigate clinical curative effect of Xiaoer Feike granule combined with Ambrocol oral solution on cough caused by bronchitis in children.
    Methods
    A total of 89 children with cough caused by the bronchitis, treated between Oct. 2014 and Jun. 2015 in Dalian Municipal Women and Children's Medical Center, were randomly divided into observation group(46 cases) and control group(43 cases). Both groups were given conventional treatment, and the observation group was additionally treated by Xiaoer Feike granule combined with Ambrocol oral solution, 7 d for a course of treatment, and finally we analyzed and compared the clinical curative effect and cough suppressant time of the two groups.
    Results
    The total effective rate of observation group was 93.5%(43/46), significantly higher than that of control group 79.1% (34/43), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The cough suppressant time of observation group was (4.32±2.79)d, significantly lower than that of the control group (6.03±3.82)d, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions in the process of clinical treatment.
    Conclusion
    The cough caused by bronchitis can be effectively controlled by Xiaoer Feike granule combined with Ambrocol oral solution.

    Objective
    To study the influencing factors of hyperbilirubinemia in preterm infants.
    Methods
    A total of 237 cases of preterm infants under 37 weeks of gestational age diagnosed with hyperbilirubinemia were selected, who received phototherapy in Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from June 2013 to Dec. 2016, and they were included as the observation group. A total of 142 preterm infants without hyperbilirubinemia hospitalized during the same period were chosen as the control group. Compare the gestational factors of the mothers,  the general condition of the preterm infants and their relationship with the diseases in preterm infants between the two groups.
    Results
    The cesarean section rate of observation group was 43.5%(103/237), the rate of 1 min Apgar score≤7 was 22.8%(54/237), and the rate of time of first meconium>24 h was 27.4%(65/237), all being higher than those of control group(25.4%,11.3% and 17.6%,respectively), and there was statistical difference(P<0.05). The incidence rate of acidosis(18.6%,44/237),neonatal sepsis(EOS/LOS)(8.4%,20/237), neonatal hemolysis disease(5.9%,14/237), and suppurative meningitis(2.53%,6/237) was significantly higher than that of control group(18.3%,0.7%,1.4% and 0.7%, respectively), the difference being statistical(P<0.05). The gestational age of the observation group[(33.8±2.1)weeks] and the birth weight[(2 259±515)g] were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05). The hemoglobin level[(170±21)g/L] was higher in the observation group than in control group[(163±22)g/L](P<0.05). Multi-factor Logistic regression analysis showed that the 1 min Apgar score≤7(OR=8.189,P<0.05), cesarean section(OR=2.461,P<0.05), the time of first meconium>24 h(OR=3.214,P<0.05), neonatal sepsis(EOS/LOS)(OR=45.385,P<0.05), and high level of hemoglobin(OR=1.024,P<0.05) were the risk factors of hyperbilirubinemia in preterm infants.
    Conclusion
    Many perinatal factors can lead to hyperbilirubinemia in the preterm infants. It will reduce the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia in preterm infants to improve delivery technique, detect early and give timely gastrointestinal feeding.

    Objective
    To analyze the features of ultrasound, X-ray and CT in the diagnosis of acute osteomyelitis in children, and to summarize the diagnosis experience.
    Methods
    A total of 28 children with acute osteomyelitis treated in Shenyang Children's Hospital from February 2012 to August 2015 were selected as the research subjects, and all of them were diagnosed by ultrasound, X-ray and CT.
    Results
    The number of bone change detected by CT was higher than that by X-ray and ultrasound. A total of 37 items of round bone destruction and special bone destruction were detected by CT, while 15 by X-ray and 20 by ultrasound. Eleven items of periosteal proliferation was found by CT, and 6 by X-ray and none by ultrasound. The rate of CT in detecting special bone destruction was higher than that of ultrasound and X-ray. The rate of CT in detecting remnant expansion bone shell destruction was higher than that of X-ray. The rate of CT in detecting periosteal proliferation, periosteal change and cortex change was higher than that of ultrasound. The rate of X-ray in detecting periosteal and cortex change was higher than that of ultrasound. All the differences were of statistical significance(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    In different time periods, the changes of the disease were influenced by the changes of ultrasound, X-ray and CT on the soft tissue and the changes of the periosteum and cortex. Ultrasound, X-ray and CT can be used in the diagnosis of acute osteomyelitis in children, and CT gives more information.

    Objective
    To analyze the result of using low-temperature plasma knife to completely excise adenoid and tonsil in children during and after the operation.
    Methods
    Totally 300 children receiving adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy in Shenyang Children's Hospital From January 2015 to May 2016 were chosen, and low-temperature plasma knife was used in these children.
    Results
    The use of plasma knife under nasal endoscope in the excision of tonsil and adenoid had the advantage of less bleeding, precise excision, shorter time of operation, less pain after operation and better recovery of wound surface and the complications of adenoid.
    Conclusion
    The use of plasma knife under nasal endoscope in tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy has significant clinical effect, which can reduce the blood loss, shorten operation time and alleviate the postoperative pain, so it is a very effective treatment for tonsil hypertrophy, adenoid hypertrophy and the complications related to adenoid hypertrophy.

    Objective
    To study the application value of real-time monitoring of water pressure enema by color ultrasonography in the treatment of children with acute intussusception.
    Methods
    Totally 616 children with acute intussusception treated in Shenyang Children's Hospital from Jan. 2012 to Jan. 2016 were selected as the research subjects. All of them were reducted by warm saline enema under real-time monitoring of color ultrasonography. For those with larger masses, low-frequency probe was used to magnify the real-time monitoring, and high-frequency probe was used for the small intussusceptions.
    Results
    There were 609 cases of uccessfully reduction in the children with acute intussusception, the success rate being 98.8%.The reduction by water pressure enema was not successful in 7 cases, which were masses in ileocecum. Later it was confirmed by surgery that there were 4 cases of intestinal necrosis, one case of cystic intestinal duplication, one case of lymphoma of the intestinal wall, and one case of intestinal polyp.
    Conclusion
    The real-time monitoring of water pressure enema by low- and high-frequency color ultrasonography for reduction has no radiation in the treatment of children with intussusceptions. The children feel relatively comfortable and the success rate is high, so it is a better way to manage acute intussusceptions in children.

    Objective
    To compare the effect of hollow screw with that of pedicle hip locking compression plate in the treatment of displaced femoral neck fracture in children.
    Methods
    Twenty-four children with displaced femoral neck fracture treated in our hospital from September 2014 to October 2016 were selected as study group and they were divided randomly into observation group and control group, 12 cases in each group. Hollow screw internal fixation was performed in the observation group, and hip locking plate was used for internal fixation in control group. The results of fracture reduction, Ratliff evaluation, Harris score of hip joint, blood loss during operation, operation time and healing time were compared between the two groups.
    Results
    There was no significant difference between the two groups in the quality of fracture reduction, Ratliff evaluation or hip Harris score(P>0.05). The mean blood loss during operation was less in the observation group than that in the control group; the time of operation and the time of fracture healing were shorter than the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    Hollow screw and pediatric hip locking compression plate have similar effect in the treatment of displaced femoral neck fracture in children. However, the hollow screw has certain advantages in terms of blood loss, operation time and healing time.

    Objective
    To analyze the ultrasonographic features of ovary, evaluate the value of ultrasound diagnosis.
    Methods
    From February 2006 to February 2016, select 114 children with ovarian tumor confirmed by surgery and pathology as the research subjects and perform abdominal ultrasonography.
    Results
    The sensitivity of ultrasonic diagnosis was 75.44%(86/114). The difference in ovarian torsion, simple cyst, teratoma and age of malignant tumor children had no significant difference(P>0.05); the diameter of tumor, ovarian volume, peak systolic velocity, end diastolic velocity, resistance index and pulsatility index had statistically significant difference(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    Ultrasound can be used to determine the qualitative and quantitative indicators of ovarian lesions, so as to identify the benign and malignant lesions and guide the surgical treatment, but the misdiagnosis is still more common.

    Objective
    To observe the clinical effect and safety of meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate in the treatment of infants with asthmatic diseases.
    Methods
    A total of 100 cases of infantile asthmatic diseases treated in Tongling Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital from Aug. 2014 to June 2016 were randomly divided into two groups: observation group and control group, 50 cases in each. Both groups were given conventional treatment; in addition, the observation group was given meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate injection for intravenous dripping and budisonide for inhalation, while the control group received methylprednisolone injection for intravenous dripping and budisonide for inhalation, the treatment lasting for 5 days. Observe the clinical effect, the time for wheezing, cough and pulmonary symptoms to be relieved, the length of hospital stay and adverse reactions in the children of the two groups.
    Results
    The total effective rate was 98.0%(49/50) in the observation group, and 96.0%(48/50) in the control group, there being no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05). There was no statistical difference in the relief time of such clinical symptoms as cough, wheezing, lung wheezing rales or the length of hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05). There was no adverse reaction in both groups. There were 4 cases of infection in the control group because of the use of glucocorticoid in the whole body.
    Conclusion
    The effect of meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate in the treatment of infants with asthmatic diseases is similar to that of the use of glucocorticoid in the whole body; it's safe and worthy of clinical application.

    Objective
    To explore the  diagnostic value of fiber bronchoscopy in neonates with congenital airway dysplasia.
    Methods
    A retrospective study on the results of fiberoptic bronchoscopy was performed in 89 neonates with airway dysplasia.
    Results
    A total of 89 neonates were examined by fiberoptic bronchoscopy. Among the cases of throat abnormalities, there were 65 cases of laryngomalacia, 4 cases of congenital epiglottis cyst,3 cases of congenital laryngeal web,1 case of hemangioma on the glottis and 1 case of bilateral vocal cord paralysis; those with trachea-bronchial abnormalities included 52 cases of tracheomalacia; there were 20 cases of tracheal stenosis, including 12 cases of simple tracheal stenosis, 6 cases of secondary tracheal stenosis and 2 cases of tracheal bronchus; there were 3 cases of tracheoesophageal fistula, 1 case of tracheal papilloma,1 case of right tracheal absence and 1 case of the left and right bronchi translocation. The most common complications of fiberoptic bronchoscopy were hypoxia and transient decline of heart rate. They all can be returned to normal after treatment.
    Conclusion
    Fiber bronchoscopy plays an important role in diagnosis of airway dysplasia in neonates, and it's safe and reliable.

    Objective
    To explore the role of safety-early-warning nursing process in the nursing of children with severe pneumonia complicated with severe febrile convulsion.
    Methods
    A total of 90 cases of severe pneumonia with febrile convulsion were selected,who were treated in Department of Respiratory Medicine of Shenyang Children's Hospital from March 2016 to March 2017, and they were randomly divided into conventional nursing group and safety-early-warning nursing group, 45 cases in each group. The routine nursing and safety-early-warning nursing were respectively given to the two groups; compare the total clinical efficiency and hospitalization of the two groups.
    Results
    In the safety-early-warning nursing group the total effective rate was 93.3%(42/45), which was significantly higher than that of the conventional nursing group[77.78%(35/45)], the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05); the hospitalization time and temperature recovery time in the safety-early-warning nursing group was significantly shorter than that of the conventional nursing group, while seizure recurrence rate was lower, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    The safety-early-warning nursing process can improve the efficiency of nursing for children with severe pneumonia complicated with severe febrile convulsion, shorten the course of treatment, and can be widely used in clinical practice.

    Objective
    To observe the effect of nursing and rehabilitation guidance in children receiving orthopedic surgery for congenital clubfoot.
    Methods
    A total of 30 children(38 feet) with congenital clubfoot were selected, who were treated in Liaoning Rehabilitation Center for the Disable from Jan. 2014 to Jan. 2016. They received surgical treatment according to different conditions. Before surgery, psychological nursing, life nursing and manual massage were performed; after treatment, posture nursing, plaster nursing, pain nursing,and rehabilitation guidance were carried out. The ankle and hind foot scoring system of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society(AOFAS) was used to evaluate the functions before and after orthopedic surgery.
    Results
    All the cases were followed up, which lasted from 10 months to two years. The AOFAS score was excellent in 13 cases(17 feet), good in 15 cases(18 feet), fair in one case(2 feet) and bad in one case(one foot),the rate of excellence was 92.1%. AOFAS score was 86.9±8.5 after surgery,significantly higher than the score before surgery(57.3±10.7),and the difference was statistical(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    Systematic nursing and rehabilitation guidance has good effect on children receiving orthopedic surgery for congenital clubfoot,which is of great significance in the success of surgery and rehabilitation of children.

    Objective
    To investigate the effect of family nursing intervention on children with asthma admitted to hospital again.
    Methods
    A total of 120 children with asthma were included as the research subjects, who were treated in Hunan Children's Hospital from October 2013 to October 2015, and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 60 children in each group. Both groups were given conventional treatment and nursing care. In addition, the observation group was intervened by family nursing care. Compare the rate of re-admission to hospital and the change of lung function in the children between the two groups.
    Results
    The rate of re-admission in observed group was 6.7%(4/60),which was significantly lower than that in the control group (26.7%,16/60); The FEV1 and PEF level after nursing care in the observation group was significantly higher than that in control group, the difference being of statistical significance(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
    The rate of re-admission to hospital was reduced after intervention of family nursing care in the children with asthma, and their lung function was also obviously improved, so it is worthy of further application and popularization.

In the haze environment, flu virus infection is mostly the combination of dampness and poison. Clinically it manifests as fever, weakness of the whole body, ache, dry throat and bucking, with red tongue and white moss as the most typical manifestation. The treatment should focus on removing dampness and detoxication. Clinically Sweet Dew detoxication pill is used to treat flu in haze environment and has achieved good effect.

During treatment, anti-allergic medicine should be given and pay attention to the regulation of lung, in order to strengthen the children's physical condition and improve the allergic situation of the children.
